The branch of a Kenyan bank in Yei County distributed pedagogic materials to Jigomoni Primary School pupils in a bid to better education in the area.
Yuanita Orora, manager for KCB Yei branch, told Radio Easter that the materials distributed included books, pens, text books and other items like balls.Ms. Orora said the school materials were given to promote the development of education.
She urged pupils to concentrate on their education and make good use of the materials they received.
Ms. Orora explained that KCB holds two annual events to benefits the communities where it works.
She added that the distribution of education materials was taking places in other countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
