Fr. Ukelo made the announcement during a mass yesterday at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Torit town.
Fr. Ukelo said Rev. Fr. Celestino Murras Terensio Abaku has been appointed to replace him as the Vicar general of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
Fr. Ukelo called upon the Christians to receive his successor with joy and offer him corporation in the development of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
The incoming Vicar General Fr. Celestino Murras Terensio Abaku was ordained a priest in April 1991.
He served the Catholic Church at various levels and places before his new appointment as the Vicar general of the Catholic Dioceses of Torit.
