SOUTH SUDAN POLITICAL PARTIES DETERMINED FOR SEPARATION

South Sudan political parties are determined to see the progress of a separated south Sudan, said the leader of the African National Congress ANC fact finding delegation.

Balete Mbete, ANC national chairperson said south Sudan political parties are also determined that the people of south Sudan should be allowed to express their view in the referendum.

She added that none of the parties dissented from the separation of the south from north Sudan.

Ms. Mbeke added that her delegation observed that the options of unity and separation are being exercised freely and fairly in the referendum.

Madam Balete Mbeke led the South African delegation to Sudan to find out on the country’s preparedness for the 2011 referendum.
