The Women for Women International agency has pledged to train more women in various skills in 2016 in Yei River County.
The organization will equip women with business savings, agriculture, human rights and health skills, says Agnes Comfort, the country director.
Yei’s Mugwo Payam will be one of the target beneficiaries in the capacity building next year, Comfort says.
However, she says the organization enrols at least 50 participants for the training and so women should turn up in a reasonable number to seize the opportunity.
Comfort observes that women village savings’ associations are complementary programs aimed at empowering them in nation building.
The training also targets men to enable women jointly implement skills gained, she adds.
The Women for Women International, South Sudan Director was speaking during the graduation ceremony of 91 women in Yei’s Logboronga area this week.
