At least ninety Christians received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday at Hiyala Catholic Chapel in the Central Deanery of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese, Monsignor Thomas Oliha also baptized over fifty young people, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Over fifty other Christians received the first communion during the same occasion.
Monsignor Oliha urges parents and God-parents to guide the children in the Christian faith.
He calls on the newly baptized and confirmed Christians to commit to follow Jesus Christ.
Hiyala Chapel Chairperson Justine Obore says many other young people dropped out from the preparation to receive Baptism and Confirmation.
The Chapel Catechist, Salvatore Osure, prepared the young Christians for the Sacraments of Baptism, first Communion and Confirmation.
