Tell the truth, know the target audience, location and purpose of passing the information, Fr Lokoro advises the journalists.
 
The Vicar General was speaking during a dialogue organized by Radio Emmanuel on Thursday.
 
The dialogue was under the theme ‘Role of media to society; effect of social media; safety of journalists’.
 
Most participants agree that the media plays a great role in society, social media has both good and bad effects and journalists lack safety in the country.
 
Representatives of media houses, civil society, youth, women, business community, legal counsels, judiciary, spiritual leaders and listeners, participated in the dialogue.
 
The dialogue is one of radio activities supported by CAFOD and Trocaire through Catholic Radio Network.
