Pope visit to Africa be a blessing to South Sudan, says Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
 
The top priority in South Sudan is prayer for peace, points out Monsignor Thomas Oliha, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
He notes that the country desires peace in all aspects of the government and among communities.
 
The people of South Sudan have to take the first pastoral visit of Pope as a blessing and request the Holy Father to pray for peace.
 
Over 300 pilgrims from South Sudan have traveled to meet the Pope in Kampala, Uganda.
 
The Pope advocates for social justice, service to the poor and underprivileged, peace, care for nature and equality.
