Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop calls on all illiterate South Sudanese to wake up to write books that gives a vision on the primary responsibility of the government or leadership in regard to peace and violence in the country.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala who was speaking during the launch of a book he wrote entitle: ‘Reconciliation, Healing and Peace in South Sudan: Reflections on the way forward’ on Thursday in Juba, says his aim of writing on reconciliation was because it compromise is timely and expectation is high, Radio Bakhita reported.
Catholic University of South Sudan Vice Chancellor Fr Matthew Pagan hails Bishop Barani, saying the book reflects the vision of patriotic elders and children to work hard for the future of the country.
He says the book gives a way forward for the achievement of integrity and unity of the nation through hardship.
Fr Pagan says the book contributes to peace and reconciliation in the country.
