Ladies from Western Equatoria, Central Equatoria and Western Bahr El Ghazal States will start an Independence handball tournament in Juba on Thursday afternoon.

Western Equatoria State Youths and Sports Minister Gibson Bullen Wande on Monday told the press that bringing players from the three states shows sign of unity among ladies and that game is the pillar for unity among youths, Radio Bakhita reported.

He adds that the tournament is the first of its kind to be organized by the National Ministry of Youths and sports in the country.

Minister Bullen says the three states were selected because they progressed in handball activities.
