Western Bahr El-Ghazal State Governor while addressing masses marking the fourth independence anniversary at Wau Stadium on Thursday challenged them to build the country into economic vibrancy instead of demanding for government service and that they should think of how to serve the government as patriots.
Rizig Zachariah Hassan recalls how hard won South Sudan independence had been, terming it a political achievement in honour of martyrs of freedom, Voice of Hope reported.
He says politicians should not put positions first in their mind, making them to turn to opposition upon losing seats.
Governor Zachariah argues that losing political seat should be a review of performance and adjustment in political career, warning his state rival politicians against rallying in Juba to unseat him.
He urges his state mates who have defected to SPLM/A in Opposition led by Dr Riek Machar to return home to work for unity and development.
