Western Bahr El Ghazal State’s Hai Jebel residential area community members on Saturday demanded that no accountability should be asked for any killing of criminals.
Hai Jebel community members met with Wau Municipality Deputy Mayor discussing about growing insecurity heightened by night robbery, Voice of Hope reported.
The community members recommend that youths should be involved in patrolling to help direct police in tracking criminals.
Recent reports from Wau police patrol reveals that Hai Jebel, Kresh, Jau and Hajar residential areas are the hot spots of night robbery.
Hai Jebel Service Committee Chairperson Sabin Domazo Unango says forming youth community policing could be very effective, revealing that Isaac Stadium and Salam Primary School are the criminals’ brooding points.
