Clinical officer says knowing HIV status very important initiative

A clinical officer in Yei River County Antiretroviral Treatment Centre says it is very important to have the initiative of voluntary counseling and testing for treatment.
 
Chaplain Yuga Emmanuel told Radio Easter that people living with HIV are still productive to the nation to continue with normal public service including military work, teaching and being medics.
 
The Medical Doctor observes that many youths shy away from knowing their status, urging them to drop out fear and go for checkup and enroll for proper care.
 
He reveals that the centre is catering 3,443 people living with HIV with 1,548 others enrolled in antiretroviral therapy.
