Golden Wings airline launched its new airplane with the capacity of 157 passengers in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
The State Airline Executive Director Gabriel Dehu during the ceremony said the plane is the third to operate in South Sudan aims at serving citizens to reduce transport problems, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He pointed out that the company chose Wau town because it has good security situation, disclosing a plan to commence external trips to Dubai of United Arab Emirates and Entebbe in Uganda.
Western Bahr El Ghazal State Acting Governor Zachariah Joseph Garang acknowledged airline efforts to serve the local population, describing it a great achievement.
He urged all companies to support the economy of the country through the investments.
Golden Wings airline launched its first plane in September 2014 with the ability of 110 passengers, confirming that there was overcrowdings due to the suspension of the airline company in Wau.
The airline donated TV set to Wau international airport waiting room to help the travelers spend good time.
