Yei Catholic priest on Friday during the third day of the sixteen diocesan annual meeting at Lutaya pastoral centre urged South Sudanese to stop the ongoing killings and follow the commandments of God.
He said no one has the right to take away someone’s life, adding that getting angry easily is a root cause to killing, saying human beings should please God by doing what He likes and obey his commandments through His son Jesus Christ.
The priest called on citizens to accept mistakes and forgive one another to avoid a recurring disagreement.
The diocesan annual meeting is expected to conclude on Sunday with a Eucharistic celebration.
