Torit Catholic Diocesan Apostolic Administrator urged Caritas Torit workers to double their efforts in delivering services to the people by building a strong team work.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha said for the organization to achieve its mission, there should be co-operation amongst the workers and the leadership, calling on workers to embrace the core values of stewardship, human persons, social justice and spirit of subsidiary for a better service delivery, Radio Emmanuel reported.
He also appealed to Caritas Torit workers to be in solidarity with the poor people by raising them from poverty to a dignified life.
The Apostolic Administrator emphasized on regular Caritas workers’ meetings and sharing of ideas as a way to find solutions to day-to-day activities.
He also encouraged priests in the Catholic Diocese of Torit to continue proclaiming the word of God.
Monsignor Oliha made the remarks during a briefing to Caritas Torit staff in the Diocese on Tuesday.
