Yabongo Girls’ Boarding Secondary School acting headmaster said this year’s academic registration is lower than that of last year.
Nasir Monayo Musa disclosed that they registered only 45 girls compared to 65 of last year in Yambio, Radio Anisa reported.
He said some parents who cannot afford to pay decided to shift their daughters to other schools after they complained about high demands in the boarding.
Mr Musa added that each student pays 1,553 South Sudanese Pounds for one academic year as school and accommodation fees.
The acting headmaster urged parents to cooperate with teachers because the school is not after quantity but good quality.
Senior Three Science student, Elizabeth Henry complained about lack of electricity for studies at night.
New boarding student Elan Bertin appreciated the environment and performance of the teachers at Yabongo Boarding Secondary School.
