United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization or UNESCO in partnership with the Youth Technology Development Organization or YTDO, UN Women, Ericsson, Huawei and Forcier Consulting are hosting the first South Sudan Information Communication Technology or ICT Development Conference from Wednesday to Friday.
In an invitation extended to CRN said the conference attracted participants from all ten states.
Regional experts are also expected to participate to enrich the conference through sharing global and regional experiences and exchange of good practices.
The conference comes at a time South Sudan’s new fiber optic cable is expected to open up regional connectivity and ensure faster and cheaper internet access in the country.
