‘Women should start establishing their own political party to drive the country to a positive change’.
This was the suggestion Voice for Change Executive Director Lona James Elia put forward during the civil society debate on the peace process over the weekend.
She said if the agreement in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was signed by women, it would be implemented because they can go one step ahead for the sake of the family.
Ms James noted problem in SPLM at all levels before the conflict broke out and that dialogue was not given a chance in addition to lack of military reform.
The Executive Director encouraged youth to stop tribalism, favoritism and move the country forward.
