Archbishop encourages IDPs to strengthen faith

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on the Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs of Kwörijik-Luri to strengthen their faith in Christ amidst difficulties.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro in his homily at Juba One Primary School on Sunday said if Christians had strong faith in Jesus Christ, bloody violence would not happen, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
He termed the recent violence in Kwörijik-Luri that witnessed loss of many lives as destruction of the people of God.
 
The Archbishop encouraged the faithful to pray and acknowledge that God will grant them lasting peace.
 
In the same occasion, Archbishop Lukudu lamented that Central Equatoria State in particular and South Sudan in general witness violence that claims lives of innocent people.
 
He likened the many crimes including robbery, killings, cattle rustling, theft, looting in South Sudan to leprosy and sins that were highlighted in the Sunday’s readings.
