Yei Catholic Bishop urges citizens to admit mistakes, ask pardon

Yei Catholic Bishop called on citizens to acknowledge their mistakes and confess them to get pardon from God so that the spirit of honesty and loyalty prevail in the nation.
 
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe in his Sunday homily at Christ the King Cathedral urged South Sudanese to seek God’s help to explore better ways of ending revenge, corruption and resolving power struggle that is claiming lives, Radio Easter reported.
 
He commended development partners for helping South Sudanese, calling on citizens to always be close to God and be compassionate to those suffering due to injustice, abuse and corruption.
 
The Catholic prelate urged Christians to pray for health workers as they commit themselves to continuously work for the health of the sick in the faith and mercy of God.
