d doubts on peace agreement by March 5 between the government and SPLM/A in Opposition.
 
Dr Lam Akol Ajawin observes that SPLM would never reunite since the warring parties intend to exclude former political detainees and the fact that non-SPLM members joined the armed opposition to ensure change of President Salva Kiir’s regime.
 
The SPLM-DC leader sees the only possibility of peace prospect in an inclusive process.
 
Voice for Change Executive Director Lona James Elia argues that if the warring parties continue to focus on interests of power position, the road to peace would remain shaky and challenging.
 
She observes that if President Salva Kiir and Opposition leader Dr Riek Machar have a genuine political will and South Sudan at heart, there is still hope to be optimistic.
 
The activist maintains that inclusivity is the only valid peace consolidation process for the country.
 
Government Spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth earlier on told the press that ‘peace is around the corner’, predicting it would be reached within the first quarter of 2015.
