Tonj South County Education Director in Warrap State on Tuesday announced to pupils and communities opening of all schools according to South Sudan new calendar.
Samuel Mayiik said all schools in the country including Warrap open in the first week of February every year, Don Bosco Radio reported.
The Director called on parents and guardians to send their children to school early in order to finish their syllabus.
Mr Mayiik said Tong South is improving despite the fact last year more than 25 schools were closed due to flood.
The Director urged supervisors to report to the Education office schools which are not working, calling on head teachers to enlighten parents, guardians and chiefs on the importance of learning.
