Security situation in Raja calm after armed force deployment

Raja County Commissioner said security situation in the area remained relatively calm following deployment of armed forces.
 
Marodama James Benjamin told journalists on Wednesday that citizens are going with their normal activities with only fishing being interrupted as people fear of further attacks at the fishing grounds.
 
He revealed that the case of World Food Programme or WFP store looting by civilians in Dam-Zubueir area remains exceptional and that police secured the food store.
 
Commissioner James said civilians who were enrolled in food for work were angered due to lack of justice in the distribution and looted the food.
 
Mr James who was one of the survivors of Sunday road ambush between Sopo and Mangayat, addressed the media in Wau after recovering at the Hospital from gunshot.
