Maridi County Commissioner called on Christians to ‘prepare hearts for Christmas’ instead of material things.
Wilson Thomas said it is time to review last year’s accounts and change bad behaviours before starting New Year, Radio Anisa reported.
He cautioned family members, especially big people to avoid misunderstandings due to material things because of financial difficulties resulting from austerity measures in the country.
Mr Thomas called on everybody to pray for peace in South Sudan, urging Christians to have strong faith.
The Commissioner reported that some cattle keepers who caused insecurity in Mambe Payam moved to Central Equatoria State and that the situation is normal in Maridi County and people prepare for Christmas.
