Hundreds of Rumbek Catholic Christians on Wednesday crowded the airport to welcome Wau Catholic Bishop ahead of the sixth Diocesan youth congress that begins on Thursday.
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak appealed to Lakes State citizens to prepare for Christmas and stop killing, hatred, division and violence, Radio Good News reported.
He appealed to youths to pray to the Prince of peace, listen to his message and denounce the ‘senseless conflict’ that is killing them.
The Commissioner of Rumbek Central County Mawet Manuer was among the faithful who received the Bishop of Wau at Rumbek airport.
