Saints Peter and Paul Parish of El Obeid Catholic Diocese in Heiban County, Nuba Mountains on Monday confirmed 11 youths during the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
Vicar General Luke Hassan explained in his homily that Jesus Christ is the Lamb God sent to redeem people, saying after Adam and Eve committed sins, God decided to send Jesus to save the world, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He added that the Lamb of God was sent to reconcile people and that his death is the cause of Christians’ salvation.
Fr Francis Angela appreciated the Vicar for confirming the eleven youths, thanking the congregation for attending the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
