Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday asked all Christians to repent their sins to be free while waiting the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his homily at St Joseph Lutaya Parish, Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe requested all people to acknowledge their failures and call for forgiveness as a way of preparing themselves in the Advent season, Radio Easter reported.
He called on youths to move carefully, appealing to them to walk as a group, but not alone for easy rescue.
Bishop Lodu advised citizens to behave well, leave out hatred and love one another as children of the same family to develop their families and the nation in general.
In related occasion, Christ the King Parish Priest Tom Poru Martin, during the solemnity of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Monday told Christians to imitate Mary’s good examples and say ‘yes’ to God in their daily life.
He said it was through Mary the ‘New Eve’ that salvation is now realized through her son Jesus Christ, urging Christians to live according to the values of the gospel.
