Central Equatoria Education Minister said the ongoing conflict in the country affected increment of teachers’ allowances to improve their salaries.
Hastin Yokwe told the media on Monday that the approved allowances were temporarily shelved after realizing weak government’s economic capacity, Radio Bakhita reported.
The Minister disclosed setting up a committee to review teachers’ promotion to increase performance.
He said South Sudan Certificate exams results would reach schools within a week.
