Yabua Parish Priest complained that lack of school forces children to walk far to Nzara and Yambio towns for education and official documents to legalize the Church land.

Fr Ignatius Mborihenga disclosed a plan to construct a bigger church building, urging Christians to support the parish project, Radio Anisa reported.

Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop Barani Edwardo Hiiboro advised Yabua parishioners to build priests’ residence before building the church, promising to open a complete primary school in 2015.

Nzara County Commissioner Elia Richard Box urged old people to go and also send their children to school.

He said the county would meet councillors to draft local orders to punish parents whose children are not schooling.

Mr Box called upon all Christians to unite, be patient, committed and forgive one another.
