Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop urged government stakeholders, churches and families to care for people living with HIV/AIDS and join hands to fight the scourge with hope on December 1.
Bishop Barani Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala on Sunday called on everyone to be frank and trustful about HIV/AIDS, Anisa Radio reported.
He advised masses to focus on awareness and human dignity of people living with HIV/AIDS as they mark the World AIDS Day on Monday.
Bishop Edwardo urged people living with the scourge to accept the situation and be kind and sincere to others.
The bishop also advised them to stop drinking and obey medical advice.
He concludes that behaviour change is the best remedy against HIV/AIDS.
