A priest in Yei Catholic Diocese urged parents and guardians to teach their children to listen and live Christian life as St Cecilia.
In his homily during St Cecilia feast on Saturday, Fr Arike Joseph Eugenio, urged the congregation to keep their faith firm in the Lord, saying children should be brought up in a Christian way, Radio Easter reported.
Yei Diocese Youth Chaplain Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit told St Joseph Secondary Students to help one another by educating the weak ones.
He stressed the importance of coming to the table of God and sharing the wisdom and little gifts the Creator gave to all people anytime.
Fr Lodongo called for self-sacrifice and endurance to provide services to the church and the nation amidst challenges.
