Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology Senior Four Secondary School candidates on Friday concluded five-day mock exams in Yambio in preparation for the South Sudan Certificate Exams.
College Principal Fr Joseph Migidi said they decided to test their students who would attempt the national exams for the first time because there was no clear information from the State Education Ministry about mock exams to all secondary schools, Anisa Radio reported.
He said through the mock exams, the administration would evaluate the performance of all candidates in every subject and put more efforts where necessary.
Abangite College Deputy headmaster Mbuma Anthony disclosed that 94 candidates including 20 ladies underwent the mock-exams.
He said the teachers set questions based on previous past papers collected from other states where candidates sat for South Sudan Certificate Exams.
Mr Mbuma lamented that general sciences were introduced to arts students and accounts to the science students in the third term.
He said the candidates do not know the exact date of the South Sudan Certificate Exams.
