Wulu County Commissioner on Wednesday entered the compound of Lakes State Member of Parliament with a gun attempting to kill him and his workers over a land dispute.

MP Moses Ater Manyiel told Good News Radio on Friday that Commissioner Benjamin Akol Muorwel drove to his compound handling a machete with threats to harm one of his workers.

Mr Ater explained that the Commissioner later took his machine gun to shoot him.

He said he reported the case to police authorities and requested a bodyguard because his life was in danger.

The MP said Commissioner Akol Muorwel in July demolished his lodge worth 50, 000 South Sudanese Pounds with claims that the land was being surveyed.

The Commissioner refused to comment when contacted by Good News Radio on Saturday.
