Western Bahr El Ghazal Police Commissioner called on South Sudanese to focus on crisis prevention.
Addressing chiefs on community policing occasion on Friday in Wau, Abraham Manyuat, said police needs training on crisis prevention, Voice of Hope reported.
He said Western Bahr El Ghazal police need to build trust of citizens and mitigate crimes before they happened.
The Commissioner called on local chiefs and community leaders to provide right information on time for police to act to avoid wasting resources.
He revealed state’s plan to recruit 800 youths into police force and lay off ineffective ones.
