Central Equatoria Anti-Commission is demanding legislators and judiciary to establish laws empowering it to fight corruption cases including public misappropriation.

Anti-Corruption Chairperson Emmanuel Khamis Richard disclosed that absence of laws to fight corruption is hindering the commission in promoting transparency and accountability, Radio Easter reported.

He said 2014 Anti-Corruption Day would be commemorated in Yei River County to create community awareness on the role of the commission in combating corruption.
