United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS toured Yei River County of Central Equatoria; creating awareness on new mandate focusing on civilians’ protection.
UNIMISS Team Leader Alinikisa Mafwenga informs Yei residents the Mission now supports peace building, human rights investigation and humanitarian assistance, Radio Easter reported.
Yei River County Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wori-Kojo tells the Mission that his government is committed to maintain peace, security and service delivery to citizens.
