Yei River County Civil Society Organizations Forum on Monday strongly condemned the ‘barbaric murder’ of former Yei Mayoress Oba Cecilia Tito, her office manager Emmanuel Lemi and other South Sudanese who died in cold blood.
The Forum Secretary General Dara Felix David called on the law enforcement agents to investigate and bring perpetrators to face the law, Radio Easter reported.
He called for peace, urging the state government to demonstrate political and morale will not to continue witnessing bloodshed on the land.
Mr Daraargued that continuing the war would nature extremism, opportunities and individualism likely to impact negatively in the country’s future.
The activist called on the SPLA to protect South Sudanese from internal or external aggression as provided in article 151 of the Transitional Constitution.
