Warring parties endorse cessation of hostilities’ modalities

Government and SPLM/A in Opposition rededicated to cessation of hostilities agreement implementation modalities.
 
Government Spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth said they signed the rededication document on Sunday, marking the real agreement where violators could be penalized.
 
He added that November 9 agreement implementation modalities would be effective with penal implications in case of violation.
 
Mr Makuei  accused Opposition forces of violating the agreement before 24 hours by attacking Dukduk area in Upper Nile State on Monday morning.
 
The Spokespersoncalled on IGAD to take immediate action against the Opposition as per IGAD resolutions.
 
Mr Makuei also accused IGAD of scheming Juba regime change, saying IGAD mediators have hidden agenda hindering peace talks in Ethiopia.
 
CRN could not reach IGAD and SPLM/A in Opposition for comments on the accusations.
 
Government Chief Negotiator Nhial Deng Nhial and SPLM/A in Opposition Chief Negotiator Taban Deng Gai on Sunday signed the rededication on cessation of hostilities agreement implementation modalities.
