Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference or SCBC Vice President said the issue of the ongoing formation of priests is a topic that occupies a major part of the ten-day plenary in Juba.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe on Wednesday said priests continuous development would occupy a very important area of discuss in their deliberations.
He disclosed that the National Major Seminary Philosophy section in Juba reopened after its closure two years ago.
Bishop Lodu said SCBC’s ‘Healing the Healers’ programme created in Rumbek Diocese became passive despite the fact the country is sick in need of cure.
SCBC President Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako arrived in Juba on Thursday to join the plenary.
