More than 100 Eyat Roads and Bridges Company workers petitioned Western Bahr El Ghazal Labour Office, complaining that the Company failed to pay their two years salaries amounting to five million South Sudanese Pounds.
Workers representative Hasab Allah Osman Mohamed handed their petition to Labour office in the presence of the company administrator and told the media that they need justice, Voice of Hope reported.
He revealed that the company administrator promised to pay them last October but all in vain.
Mr Osman assured they would continue with their normal work while waiting for the State Labour Office to take legal procedures against the Eyat Company.
Eyat representative, Luka Moor attributed salaries delay to compromise between the national ministry of Roads and Bridges and the Company.
The Labor Office instructed the Company administrator to bring their pay sheets to for legal procedures and pay workers salaries.
