Western Bahr El Ghazal Governor said the national Foreign Ministry praised the investment agreements between the state and Egyptian government, saying preparations to receive investors on the ground were finalized.

Rizik Zachariah Hassan told the state cabinet shortly after his return from Juba that the Foreign Ministry endorsed all the eight agreements pended for technical scrutiny, Voice of Hope reported.

He said the eight investment agreements were handed over to the Egyptian delegation expected to arrive in Wau soon.

The Governor said while in Juba he clarified that state government would pay 50 percent accommodation cost for students expected to go and study in Cairo and the Egyptian government pays the remaining 50 percent.

Western Bahr El Ghazal government in September visited Egypt to lobby for investment opportunities in electric power, agriculture and capacity building to state manpower.
