St Mary Parish pastoral councillors, priests, sisters, catechists, community elders and laity group leaders on Thursday assembled for a three-day general meeting in Yambio to evaluate and plan their activities for the first time.
Parish Priest Peter Moudie said they would mainly look into how to grow in faith in all Centres, Chapels and parish at large, Anisa Radio reported.
Fr Moudie added that they would also evaluate all past activities and plan for the next church calendar year.
He said other focuses would be on strengthening joint work, renewal of faith, social development and growth of laity groups to unite the church and the small Christian community.
Fr Moudie appealed to all Christian communities of St Mary to pray for the success of the meeting.
He announced that there would be a fundraising ceremony for the ongoing work of the church at St Mary Parish on Sunday.
