Lainya County Commissioner in Central Equatoria State launched a three-day third round of polio campaign in Kupera Payam to reach children under five years with the oral vaccine.
Commissioner Huda Micah Laila appreciated State Health Ministry and NGOs that supported the immunization program to keep the nation polio free, Radio Easter reported.
She called on vaccinators to reach children in all rural areas of the county, urging parents to cooperate for their children care to avoid disabilities.
County Expanded Program on Immunization or EPI Supervisor, Nelson Jamaica appealed to parents to allow their children receive the oral vaccine.
