End Impunity Organization Director called on the government to protect journalists in South Sudan.
 
Angelina Daniel who was addressing the first International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists under the theme: ‘Together, for safety and protection of journalists’ on Monday in Juba, urged the government to build the capacity of the law enforcement agents to efficiently implement laws of the country.
 
She also called on the government to implement United Nations General Assembly Resolution of ending impunity for crimes against journalists.
 
The Director stressed that ending impunity against journalists in South Sudan is a collective responsibility.
 
She called on the Union of Journalists of South Sudan to exert more efforts to protect journalists.
