Indians to install Teak Company in Andari Payam

An Indian Company dealing in teak exploitation was granted a piece of land in Andari Payam of Ezo County to install their machines and kick off the business.
 
Ezo Press Secretary, Buku Matthew reported that Andari Payam authorities in collaboration with traditional chiefs offered 100 by 150 meters of land, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He explained that the Company would pay eight percent of the revenue to Western Equatoria government, 20 percent to Ezo County and compensate by cutting one teak and planting five.
 
Ezo County Commissioner Moudie Albert said Bangangai Teak Project would bring development to Andari Payam in particular and Ezo County in general.
 
He recalled that in the memorandum of understanding, the Company would keep sanitation and open the road from Andari junction to Bangangai where the teak plantation exist and avail job opportunities to local communities.
 
The County Commissioner requested the local community to cooperate with investors, warning them against selfishness to their neighbours.
