Thieves steal household property in Kumu

Thieves broke into Khalid Abass Jarus’ house in Kumu Fog village of Kumbur Payam in Heiban County on Wednesday night and stole a number of items.
 
Khalid Abass told Voice of Peace on Thursday that thieves stole many things in the house including computer laptop with its accessories while he was away.
 
He added that more than 30 pieces of clothes, two new mattresses, Vehicle jet, mobile phone and 450 South Sudanese Pounds also were stolen.
 
Mr Abass said it was not good to have thieves in the community because the practice would pose threats to belongings of community and local NGOs.
 
Mr Abass revealed conducting community emergency meeting to come up with a strategy and regulate night movement to protect property and keep security within the area.
 
The cost of the property stolen at Khalid Abass’ house reached 7,750 Sudanese Pounds.
 
Earlier this year, thieves stole motorbike from Kumu shop at night.
