South Sudanese Development Organization in collaboration with the Municipal Rural Water Development Office initiated a project to rehabilitate 20 boreholes in Yei.
Program Manager Catherine Nduku said the project aims to prevent the community from drinking contaminated water to get rid of cholera through treatment of water and repair of boreholes, Easter Radio reported.
Project officer Mawa Seme appealed to the community to cooperate with the experts for the provision of safe drinking water.
He said the program is the first massive emergency respond in the Municipality besides other activities that the organization runs since 2002.
