Mongo, Ombasi reconcile after two years division over football

Youths of Mongo and Ombachi communities in Otogo Payam on Wednesday met to reconcile after two years division following a fighting in a disco place expanding to football.
 
Payam Paramount Chief Justin Towongo James said the two communities reconciled and would start relations including football competitions together, Easter Radio reported.
 
Ombasi representative Lillias Desire Cosmas expressed gratitude to God after the reconciliation for the two communities to live in harmony.
 
Mongo representative appealed to the two parties to implement their commitments, calling on other parts to copy the example of the two communities to avoid hatred and bad living conditions.
 
Payam Youth leader Philip Amule Faustino urged the two communities to peacefully coexist because it took them many years living separately.
 
The reconciliation meeting brought together, church, government, community and local football associations’ representatives of both Mongo and Ombasi.
