Fuel shortage hits Wau town in Western Bahr El-Ghazal State just after a day of similar crisis in Rumbek town of Lakes State.
 
Voice of Hope reports that all petrol stations are drying up as consumers queue around limited sources.
 
Fuel crisis struck the town on Thursday morning as vendors raised prices to 35 South Sudanese Pounds per litre.
 
Runway Station Manager Mohamed Daud said the station would close by Saturday.
 
He hopes to resume fuel supply business in October as trucks on transit reach Wau.
 
Mr Daud disclosed that up to 15 tanks were still stuck on Tombura-Yambio road due to bad road conditions.
 
Customer Dinya Peter expressed disappointment over fuel scarcity affecting even home generators.
 
He lamented that he would miss a lot of information from home television watching.
 
Motorists now charge five South Sudanese Pounds compared to three Pounds in short distances within Wau town.
 
Some citizens are expressing worry that the fuel shortage may affect market prices.
