Tonj South County motorcycle riders in Warrap State on Friday alerted media of fuel shortage hitting town and paralysing their businesses.

Motorcycle rider Marko Madut cried out his disappointment over fuel shortage, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He decried worsening relations with customers they raise transport charges.

Mr Madut disclosed that one bottle of petrol now costs 35 South Sudanese Pounds among market road vendors.

He expressed fears that fuel shortage may cause price rise in market if the situation continues for another week.

Motor rider Atak Mangan blamed the state and national governments for neglecting infrastructural development in the country, resulting into fuel crisis.

He said he was surviving on motorcycle business locally known as boda-boda, but now it is coming to a stand still due to shooting fuel prices.

Mr Mangan appeals to government to fix impassable roads for easy flow of goods and services to local communities.
